yeah there are a few updates, the Hume bypasses are in there, the estate I live in wasn't there in the last map update and now it with correct streets, recalculating route seems a bit quicker

Yep, I bought the update. Lots of new roads on it compared to my 2010 version! Has worked fine over the last month travelling throughout NSW and Vic - no issues or bugs. Good value for $165. Well done Holden!

I bought my map update yesterday $179 installed (Was installed during a warranty seat repair), Seems a bit slower to load up but it could just be me being impatient, rather that hitting the button and driving.

    SW Version D313
Map Database Aust + NZ 8217

    Edit:

map is not any slower than old version, works just the same was just me being impatient when new, so happy camper

I asked two dealers today, neither had stock but could order it in, but would only sell to me as part of a service for $165 otherwise $250 !
Are you guys getting them for $165 self installed ?

Yes! When I received the letter from Holden, I went to spare parts at the local dealer. They had a box full of the update packages under the counter, and had no trouble selling me one.

Must have been popular, as they were all sold by the next day...

I've heard the same with some dealers in Vic.

Hunt around, I'm sure there's dealers in Adelaide willing to take your cash.

R/H side of the IQ unit. If you remove the trim panel closest to your left foot, look up under the IQ, you'll see a slot where the SD card lives.

The slot might be covered with a decal.

Is anybody having trouble with these new maps?

Half the time it places me 200-300m left or right of where I actually should be, or the marker seems to be very delayed. This problems were nowhere near as apparent on MY13.

No probs with mine except on really overcast days it takes a few mins to find me, previous version was the same.
A mates brand new GT BMW does it aswell.

Hmm. Mind you I'm fully aware of GPS issues like that, but I'm talking at least 10 minutes before it corrects itself (if it even manages to correct itself in the first place).

Tried doing a factory reset on only the SatNav with no change. Attempted to reset the entire IQ however the button didn't work - Holden Fail.

Ive had this problem every now and then on my IQ and this has been over the couple of years I have owned the car. I think its just a GPS thing.
I didnt think there was a way to reset the IQ?

From the top of my head, you hold down front demister and 'ext temp' and the engineering menu pops up. Few things in there!

Ah yes. Whatever you do don't click radio tuning or whatever...I've heard of people screwing their reception.

I have had my 2012 Calais Wagon [still under warranty] in Twice in the past 4 months for the Vibrating Exhaust when its cold and in Drive, they say they re-hang the exhaust and it fixes it for a while, the previous time when I had it in, I mentioned about the GPS sends me in circles, and tells me to "Turn Right Left" or "Turn Left Right", so I have no idea which way I am turning in a unfamiliar place, I said is there an upgrade for it ?, they told me there is and its on a disc, & it will cost me $350+, one would think its a warranty issue, but alas its not.
