Mass VF Commodore Recall - Seatbelt issue 42000 VF's affected

40,000 Commodores sold and only about 20 or so members posting on this forum in the VF thread. Maybe I need to get out more!

mine is supposed to be built this Thursday the 29th May hope it isn't further delayed:supersad: just found out only cars built prior to 22nd May 2014

Of course it won't affect any vehicles not built as yet lol. 22may was when they found the issue hence that's the recall to date. As if there gunna keep building cars with a known issue..
Mine might be ready this weekend after all. Touch wood

Hi all,

Just check your VIN's to see if your VF is affected. Not all vehicles are affected

The recall applies to the VF Commodore and WN Caprice, with the VIN range: 6G1FL5EP6EL900097 - 6G1NN5E48EL987612.

The vehicles in question were built between March 8 last year and May 22 this year.

No, but the recall was sorted today. But that's the start of my car's problems!

The latest is the whole dash needs to be removed from this car. Its to try and solve an annoying rattle that even surprised the dealership service dept. This is just another chapter with this car and I for one regret buying a Holden.

The day the recall was announced in the media and contacted holden via their chatline on their website and I was asked for the VIN and was told they my car was not affected. My calais V was built in July 13
