master cylinder in hsv e1 with ap racing calipers

Just bought a set of ap racing calipers/discs front and rear for my ve ssv...my question is there a difference in master cylinders between these equipped hsv cars and a ssv car like mine

fitted up my AP's from HSV E1 no issues, no different M/C etc, have an 06 SS VE

did you just trim off the rear backing plates to fit the bigger discs?

yep for my Brembos i angle grinded the lip off and a about 2cm either side of the caliper

how did the finished product look as not getto looking?
The other option of using hsv backing plates looks too much work for not much (if at all)gain

They came out surprisingly good and i re-sprayed them semi gloss black to seal the bare metal etc.

Part of the discs are exposed so i will definitely replace them with the correct fitting plates when i eventuality need to replace the wheels bearings
