Heres a bit mroe of an update!
About 3 weeks back, pulled the exhaust off the car, Well sort of fell apart lol.
Pulled the bonnet off, motor out and started stripping the bay down!
Motor is pulled down to a block and internal's and has been away at a machine shop for close to 2 weeks now. Gone 30 thou over, new rings, cam and crank bearings, flat top pistons, new lifters, double row chain, mild camshaft then when i get it back ill spray the block to factory blue, put my YT heads on and the rest of the goodies!
Bay has since been sanded and is ready for prep and primer as we speak!
First time in 30 plus years these two have been apart!

Yay! engine is finally home!
I had the following done to it!
All new bearing's, re linish crank, bore honed and decked block, 30 tho over size flat top hypatec pistons, molly ring's, double row timing chain kit, custom ground crow cam, all dialed in, new lifters, list goes on!!
total of 9.6:1 comp running YT head's.
Also got a few parts back from powder coating! Pacemakers are done in satin black, pulleys and engine brackets ect are done in a high gloss finish

Engine bay is all in Hi-fill as of yesterday! Moving along now!
Final rub down in a few day's, then hopefully she has some paint on her by Thursday/Friday!
I also sprayed up the fuel tank myself today with a metallic silver and gloss black straps..
