Gday guys and girls, I finally picked up a project car i had been looking for over the last 12 months. Picked it up on the 13th of october 2012 for a good price
Car: VH SL/E Commodore
Year/Month: 1982 March
Body type: Sedan
Color: Tahitan blue
Engine type: Carby 3.3lt Blue motor (202ci)
Trans: Standard 3 speed trimatic
Diff: Unsure of as of yet.
Interior: Blue velour seats and plush pile carpet with standard 6 cylinder light blue door trims, rear headrests(optional), Original steering wheel with a chunk missing out of it, tacho dash, trip computer, working air con.
Exhaust: Stock exhaust with pacemaker headers fitted long ago.
Suspension: Stock
This is going to be a bit of a project for me, but will be a nice cruiser when she is finished
Plans are to restore the car, rebuild and work the motor a little bit, either respray the original blue or do a two tone paint job like a nice blue over silver.
The car needs a fair amount of work done to it, but in the end its something ill enjoy and hopefully others too. Will update this thread a bit more in the next day or two.
So it starts from here...
