Hi I just wanna know if anyone knows about how much this càr would be worth for sale.

This car is my aunty's car who is now 58yo, she bought this car brand new when it 1st hit the show room floor.

Reason why there is such low Kim's which till today i still haven't seen a Mazda 121 that has 75,000 original km.

Reason why is because since buying the car she never drives it any where but to the shops to do shopping, imbarrassing to say but she live in the western suberbs and she has never even driven the car to the city,

The engine is in such iMac condition that it drives so well when I took it for a run and boy does it take off for a small car.

Now down to mechanical side of things this car is perfect then any Mazda 121 i dare say, the body of the car is pretty ruff and damaged due to neglect, because as a woman of her age she isn't a very good driver there for few scratches dints and damages.

I've got the car in my position now because i offered to fix the body up for her but regretfully i haven't got time via we just had a new born
baby and where I live is all off street parking.

So i told my aunt to just sell it for like $3,000 which is hard to sell for that price but she wouldn't agree and would only sell for $10,000 because she say she buy new and bla bla.

What she dont understand us car

prices ages no matter what, so I've managed to persuade her to just sell it and stop thinking of how much she brought it for when it was new and sell it for the price that you wonderfully E-buyers reckon is a fair price.

Just to remind you this car has 75,000 origanal km on the engine, if you can find a car with that low origanal km ill be very suprised.

Just selling the motor and gear box I've been offered $700

Just a clue to poeple that will have time to restore the car you will make a good investment on this car.

So what do you guys reckon this car would be worth?

If you're lucky.. Low kays or not.. It's a 17 year old car..

Unfortunately mate a 121 ain't exactly a collectors item.. When my grandad died in 2006 I had to sell off his absolutely mint 1987 Ford Telstar with only 12,000kms on the clock..
I got $700 for it..

Has it got a good service history? How bad is the damage that your talking about? Market price seems to be about $5,000 average for that car.

But if the car has been neglected, has a poor service record, and damaged then you won't be looking at anything near that figure.

Problem is that as said this isn't a collectors item, and in my opinion your target market will be p platers and first car buyers, and unfortunately for you there's plenty of little cars like this out there that are immaculate, have low milage, with grandpa/nanna owners who have kept a good service record and are in that price range.

Personally I'd say even $5,000 is too much for a 17 year old 121.

Good luck with the sale.

If it has the typical sort of minor body damage that elderly drivers' cars accrue, it probably isn't even worth fixing them up. The 121 was not a great model and there are far better and safer small cars available for young drivers. The low distance travelled won't make a bit of difference if the car looks like crap.

$1500 tops.

I would say $2500 tops , the low mileage while a good thing , will not outweigh the body damage and a 121 is not exactly a piece of automotive gold .
