Update
Hey, Not to far off having my car back on the road.
The engine block and internals come back the other week, all fully machined and balanced. The block looks so clean, brand new you could say.
With the engine now back together and back in the car, this is what i have:
Machined block, 30 thou over.
ACL racing pistons.
Standard rods and crank, balanced.
CAMTECH camshaft.
Crow double row timing chain.
Ported and polished heads, 1.8 Stealth roller rockers.
70mm throttle body.
Accel 30lb injectors.
Had a bit of dramas with the supercharger mounting bracket. Found out the hard way that i had an Ecotec mount, had to express one up from CAPA, another $800 added to the cost, Sh*t.
The only things that are still outstanding is:
Mounting the Charger.
Fitting the intercooler and piping.
Dyno runs and custon tune.
All the dress up work, hiding wiring, mounting ignition module, fitting rising rate fuel regulator, you know,, all that sort of crap.
It's going to be one hell of a christmas for me. First outing should be Summernats, not going in any events, just want to show her of a bit and see what PPL think.
Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone.
Cheers and Beers, Merlin.
