i have a vx 2002 model.at the front down the bottom it is open and you can see the radiator and pipes. which is the easiest and cheapest way to fill this in with mesh of some sort.is there an easy way a female can do it?thanks

i have a vx berlina wagon 2002. mine has factory bug screnn in both the grill and the lower bar area.

i just recently changed it too a chrome mesh. it is simply held on with a bracket. if you went to holden you could possibly order this bracket.

From what i can tell it was a holden by design option

Hardest thing will be taking the bumper off... and that aint too hard.

But it is left open like that for a reason.... to let the air into the radiator, so you cant block it up too much.

    Please don't do it.

You will regret it later as it rattles loose and rubs a hole in your condenser.

Is this what you want ? I bought some from Autobarn and attatched it with silaflex . I put a piece of A4 behind it so you can see it clearer

    HBD , Wrong.

Your's was an optional extra through spare parts for Berlina's and Calais variants.

Spare parts RRP was in excess of $80 for the factory insect screens.

This optional extra was available for all other variants dependant on the front bar.

Genuine VT / VX insect screens are are very hatd to find nowadays. I think Holden have deleted them, or so my local dealership told me...

I saw a seconhand set of VT screens on feeBay recently - i bid up to $121 and still lost!
