so i warmed the car up last night for a good 10 minutes and it looks like there wasn't any leaking . this morning i checked and there was a bit that had leaked out. maybe i am over filling it? i will be able to tell when i come home . hopefully all is good!
Put the new mats in!!! Also, you should very much look into, as suggested by everyone else, colour coding the green lights to blue.
Not much to update on. hopefully getting rid of those flutes i got from rare spares. (bought for $50.50) will be selling for $90 next week will try and vacuum after lunch if i can be bothered haha. I have noticed that near the bottom of the dash its starting to heat up again. can feel it getting hot when i put my hand under the flip down thing thats under the radio and also when i rest my left leg on the panels.
mats are in! half cleaned the interior, need to give it all a good wipe down, tape some wires and thats it i think. if i can be bothered tomorow ill do that, degrease/clean engine bay a bit/ clean rims still haven't got my wheel alingment ... mybad . lucky i drive it 3 times a fortnight >
Yeah sure did. I did a quick sand down with 120, then 2 coats of plastic primer and then 2 coats with the touch up paint.
It blends in so well. i think this will definately be a weekend mod! isn't 120grit pretty rough? also are you going to clearcoat it or nah?
Yeah I think this is a wicked mod to do considering it looks 100x better then normal or a chev badge. yeah 120 is pretty rough, but It was just so the primer and paint had something to grip, that bar is really smooth. yeah I might get around to clear coating it eventually.
dunno if ill have time to paint the bar on my grill haha. might just bring it into the panel shop when i bring in my door handles/rear boot garnish
hahahahahahahaha plastic on a $25 floor mat, you bludger you got plenty of time to paint it at home.....
