Hi guys n girls, I need some help with Outlook Express. The other day i went to send an email with some photo attachments, so it started sending and the progress window opened then it nearlly finished sending. Then a message came up "could not send to big" or something along those lines. So now when i go in there it just starts sending again and the same thing happens. What it is im trying do is get rid of it altogether, because i cant send of ther emails or receive ones either until this one sends but it bloody well won't. I do use hotmail now and then but some things i like to use Microsoft:bang:

Thanx in advance,
Brownie

I use Thunderbird. And I've never had a problem. When I did use Outlook, i had trouble with emails not coming through, saying they'd sent when they hadn't....etc.

Definately change to Thunderbird.

I'm a thunderbird user too, but heres an answer (maybe)

Open outlook, cancel sending if it tries. Then go to "outbox", and delete the message from there. Then switch to thunderbird.

Let me know if this fixes it or not, and I'll try something else :)

It could be a hard limit imposed by Bigpond which will certainly cause problems. How big is the file? perhaps compress it using winrar or winzip or whatever else takes your fancy.

Another vote for thunderturd over here :) Great piece of software, use it for both home and work. I must admit though it does take a little getting used to.

Your ISP probably limits email sizes too, check with them.
