yeah replaced the inlet gasket it was buggered, huge cracks around the inlets.

Probably need a scan tool and check codes. Try removing the engine fuse for 20 seconds and see if the CEL comes back.
Do you smear the gaskets with oil or RP7?

nah didn't put anything on the gaskets. didn't think I had to

You should because this helps to stop the seals on the gasket fouling while you move the manifold into place.

lol ok you were right I forgot to plug it in, might be why the engine light is on also

well I know for next time, I was really careful putting the manifold back on, but next time I will use it

Ok so removed the engine fuse and battery, started perfect first time, no engine light and fans are off, now to change oil and filter :D

In the future just remove fuse, saves resetting the stereo.
