G'day all

Having a couple minor issues with my LPG system. Driving is fine, sitting in park is fine, but come to a stop in drive (stopping at a red light) and the idle is way out. It starts to chugg, similar to having a big lumpy cam installed. I've watched the tacho, and the needle fluctuates between about 800-1000rpm to almost stalling. If I leave it, I reckon it would stall.

Goes to the mechanic soon, and with any luck an LPG specialist to have a service. But if anyone here has experienced a similar problem, I'd appreciate the input. System is a SprintGas Vapour Injection, car is an 04 VZ Calais LS1, system is 2 years old.

Also seems to trigger the 'SVS' warning on the dash (oil pressure switch), which is being replaced at the mechanics. Possibly have anything to do with it?

Finally, don't need any of the negative criticisms about LPG left in the thread. Seen them all, read them all, not interested =)

Thanks

Just sounds like the car needs a good service. Maybe the filter in the LPG system needs changing.
Those Vapour systems are pretty spot on when it comes to programming not like the old systems u would have to fine tune all the time.

Cheers buddy, been meaning to have it done since I bought it. Seems like the opportune moment, I'll mention it when it goes in.

Cannot fault it, very happy with it over say, my dad's old Falcon with mixer... absolute nightmare.

i also had that on my 2005 wl stato for the svs message on the dash , that is most likly from the oil pressure sensor.
the part is very very easy to fit your self and costs about $90.
it is located very close to the oil filter on the alloytec eng.
