Minor Problems

Hey guys, i'm new, so be nice.

I recently purchased a VK and have a few minor problems with it. The front tyres are a concern, and in particular, the front left. These are non directional tyres, so im interested in info on how take them off of the rim and swap them around.

The rear brakes are of concern too. any info on what to do there and general prices would be appreciated. I've just finished sitting the HSC, so there's no shortage of time, and mates who will help me out. A mate has recently done work to his VL, so he'll help me out. He's also replaced the shoes on his rear brakes, so would he have any knowledge of what to do when the time comes to fix my brakes?

The only way to remove tyres is with the right equipment.
Take it down to a tyre shop and have them do it for u.

get the wheels balanced and have a wheel alignment while ur at it.

Are they drums or disc? cause the prices vary on either.

for rear drum brake shoes ur looking at approx $40 exchange.
rear disc pads are around the 50 mark.
rear disc's also have brake shoes which are for the handbrake only these are about $30 exchange.

Yes he would have a fair idea if his are drums and so r urs.
