hi guys, i have an auto VE commodore and i think the gear shifter is in a different position to what gear the gearbox is in - e.g, if the shifter is in park, my reverse lights will come on, and if i put the shifter to reverse, it’ll let me crank the car (presumably because it’s actually in neutral). i am having trouble putting the linkage back on when lining up the gear shifter, so i was wondering whether there was a way to manually change what gear the gearbox was in without use of the shifter or linkage. thanks
