if you are going to pull the dizzy out make sure you turn the engine to TDC

yah i learnt the hard way last time it was out, could the dissy being one groove off cause it not being able to be tuned in right?

Yes it could be a groove out, but did u put a timing light on it after..
And if it was out a bit u car would be a slug or it would ping alot...

yep i had that prob when i took it out
very touchy to get to idle nice, it was a bitch and the timing light was used but it was easyer to tune it by ear,

so do you reackon it could be the dissy off by a groove?
and if u think it is how do i fix it again?
is it :
-take rocker cover off
-turn motor till the inlet valve on first pistion is closed
-then turn motor over till you hit nearst TDC
-then place dissy back in
that right?

Thats about it, but if the prob was there b4 u pulled the dizzy out then I don't think so..

well it was there b4 i took the dissy out b4,
when i took teh dissy out i gave the CAS (think it was it, black thing on the disc) a good blow and light clean and replaced the O ring rubber, once i got the dizzy back in and got the car running it was fine/perfect, then it startd playing up again 3 weeks later or soo, and now its got worst the cars bearly idleing and runnign like ****,
so im think it might be the CAS, thus y im think about trying a s./hand one to see if it is it,
dose that sould like it could b the cause to you?

It's sounding like it hey, that's all u can do is try it and only do 1 thing at a time because if u change 3 things and it runs great u wont know which 1 it was...

Just 1 more thing did u do a ECU diagnostic??
