missing 2nd and 4th gear???

    help

    my vp has all of a sudden got no 2nd or 4th gear so i take it up to about 40km/h in first then totally back of so it will go into 3rd where it stays, there is no weird sounds coming from the gearbox and still drives fine and the trans fuild is fine

    any help would be great

    time 4 a rebuild.. these boxes r always breakin... did holden have some sort of deal with the gearbox rebuilders..

    hahaha mine hasnt died yet, i give it a fair bit off **** at times actually :D:D hasnt let me down.... im due for a service anyway, there's no slipping but just to make sure :D
