    Hi all

Since I had a day of today due to the great ANZACS
I thought I would take a spin up to Marysville in my new VZ SV6.
Had a great day but just one thing.....Seem to use a lot of fuel for such a small drive (80 km there and back) and I notice a smell of fuel in the boot and some times in the car on the way home.
Had a good look under the car and hood but couldn't see anything strange.
    Any ideas folks .....
    thanks all

It's still under warranty buddy so get it checked out at a Holden dealer. Doesn't sound good if your able to smell the petrol. Could be a number of things. Hopefully it's minor but i'd get it checked out immediately.

Make sure that the fuel cap is on tight (TIGHT) if not they can allow fumes into the boot area that can find way into cabin. Check seal on cap to ensure it (a) is present and (b) not incorrectly fitted. I had a similar problem on VZ found that cap had to be tightened by turning numerous times after clicking sound is heard. You won't damage it by doing so but will prevent fumes escaping.
