Just a quick one, hope this is not out of order in this forum. Does anyone recommend a good mobile car mechanic to service/work on my VX commodore? I have a fairly ok one now but he is not mobile and with my day job now, its becoming very hard to drop off my car. I post this on this tread because I want to guy to have commodore experience, not just come second rate mechanic. My current mechanic used to work for holden.
Yeah Lube Mobile usually have older experienced mechanics who do a very thorough job, they present you with a written quote and will always show you exactly what the problem is on the car. It's much better than a phone call from a mechanic telling you that your flux capacitor needs changing. My neighbour gets Lube Mobile to do his car while he's at work. He swears by them. I've had them do a service for me once, not one complaint. They also let you supply all your own parts, so just buy them on special and you're set.
Just called Lube mobile, crazy prices. Anyone got any other suggestions? I used to use a guy from Choice Tune. He was AWESOME! but he had family issues and has never been seen since. Looking for a new one... let me know if you recommend a mechanic that comes to you.
