Hi, I am new to this site so hope someone can help. I have read a couple of the previous threads and noticed one on the wiring plug for the hands free kit for a VE Commodore. The last reply I came upon, which was in 2007, was the location of the plug which was behind the glovebox. What I wanted to know is whether anyone has worked out the wiring as yet? ie: the colours and what they are for. I have a VZ Adventra also, and it was easy to wire up with the wiring diagram that someone had put onto this site.

Regards
Ray

There is a very simple cure to this problem.
Trot yourself off to a Holden spares counter and they can supply a harness that plugs into the socket under the glove box.
The harness has all the wires labelled for you to install and connect the car kit to.
Part number G*92188778. I paid About $18 November last year.

Ok I got something to ask about that

why you only get "mobile" sound quality with the hands free ?

I tried to play mp3s from my mobile, but the quality is bad

anything to do about that ?

I have the same problem (with holden factory kit).

The VE bluetooth kit doesn't support the extension to bluetooth called A2DP, so the audio will be "clipped" to the standard voice band.

Your phone also needs to support it, but most new phones do.

Wait until they release a car which supports it. (Yes, really).

Or, find a carkit which supports it, and connect the carkit via the aux input socket to the stereo.

I know this is a old post but I won’t to hardwire my BlackVue dashcam 1ch. Happy just to use the fuse adapter, I’m pretty sure can plug into door for Accessory, which would I use for power, earth well that’s self explanatory.
