High flow cat, throttle body and a tune will liven it up.

 

Get a tune from ebay nicefrog or delcowizzid on here. Best $$$ you will spend. Next, if you haven't already, replace your coil. Often forgotten on those 5 litres coz of their location. Next put a spool in it. They were the best gains I found for my VP 5 litre by far.

After a tune i'd suggest Nitrous oxide.
the extra power is only there when you want it & it only uses extra fuel when it's active.
I don't think it (NOS) or a spool/mini spool is legal for the street, if that is a concern for you.

i would be getting a tune, 3.9 diff gears and what ever you have left get like a throttle body or something.

 

when you say throttle body, what exactly are you meaning by that, im buying a vs 5litre very soon so instead of starting a thread similar to this already lol. The car has extractors, ort, exhaust and a small cam, im not sure on the specs of the cam, do i need to know the specs on it and what else do i need to know in order to get a tune?

a STRUT BRACE to tighten up the front end? i just put a brace on my 1998 vs maloo and it tightended up the from end very well, or a change in the diff gears for better take offf....what ever you do best of luck rusty
