After spending a lot of time reading your posts on the merits of rice preparation, I've decided that it's time to upgrade my "stock as a rock" VP Commodore.

Can anyone make any more recommendations, indicate prices, or perhaps tell me a good place where I can get some of these mods done?

I've got the following mods in mind:

- Downsize exhaust pipe to about 0.25 inch total diameter for higher pitch sound
- Resleeve engine block and reduce capacity to 1.5 litres to increase fuel economy (Shell Optimax is so expensive).
- Whailtail plastic rear spoiler in fluro pink (for looks) to enhance road holding and prevent breaking into wheelspin when accelerating heavily above 300kmph
- Higher suspension for clearance of any cats that innocently stray onto the road
- Pink wall tyres (to match the spoiler)
- Monster "Big Ben" tacho with 5 stage shift lights
- Column shift (to replace the T-Bar)
- Bench front seat with centre harness for baby carriage
- Fox tail aerial (100% polyester to accomodate my Animal Protection sticker)
- Spinner wire hubcaps with spokey dokeys (plastic beads that roll up and down the wire)
- Plastic 10 point rollcage (for safety, and to save weight)
- 1 metre square "RICEMAN" sticker for rear window

I was also wondering if there were any advanced driving courses to assist with negotiating your driveway. (Before I venture out onto those big bad roads).

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Dave

Well, you see the best way to negotiate your driveway after ruthlessly advancing the technology in your car like that is to raise your Blood Alcohol level to between 0.12 and 0.2 You then sit in the driver seat (if necessary use friend to ensure you sit facing the right direction) and then start the engine, and negotiate driveway.

Rules: The more objects you hit, the more points you get. Leaves only count as one point when they are off the same tree. Adults count as 50 points, pets as 200 points and toddlers as 500 points.

You're disqualified if you have already tied targets such as toddlers down before taking the test (ie. cheating).

If you wedge your car into the wall of your house, then you automatically win.

If your car is not able to be driven out of the wall, you get 5000 bonus points and a free new car.

Hey what if I bring my car and we have time trials in the driveway.
The more points you get in the least time wins.

Maybe someone can sponsor us for a prize or something. Maybe an upgrade on our cars.

You could even set up a Christmas Tree (a real one) and have driveway drags .
