After spending a lot of time reading your posts on the merits of rice preparation, I've decided that it's time to upgrade my "stock as a rock" VP Commodore.
Can anyone make any more recommendations, indicate prices, or perhaps tell me a good place where I can get some of these mods done?
I've got the following mods in mind:
- Downsize exhaust pipe to about 0.25 inch total diameter for higher pitch sound
- Resleeve engine block and reduce capacity to 1.5 litres to increase fuel economy (Shell Optimax is so expensive).
- Whailtail plastic rear spoiler in fluro pink (for looks) to enhance road holding and prevent breaking into wheelspin when accelerating heavily above 300kmph
- Higher suspension for clearance of any cats that innocently stray onto the road
- Pink wall tyres (to match the spoiler)
- Monster "Big Ben" tacho with 5 stage shift lights
- Column shift (to replace the T-Bar)
- Bench front seat with centre harness for baby carriage
- Fox tail aerial (100% polyester to accomodate my Animal Protection sticker)
- Spinner wire hubcaps with spokey dokeys (plastic beads that roll up and down the wire)
- Plastic 10 point rollcage (for safety, and to save weight)
- 1 metre square "RICEMAN" sticker for rear window
I was also wondering if there were any advanced driving courses to assist with negotiating your driveway. (Before I venture out onto those big bad roads).
Any help would be appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Dave
