And something else i just remember. When i got my car back there was no petrol cap. It rained one night it was gone and when i got it back there was little rust spots where the cap screws into. could water in the tank cause water from exhaust?? if so how can i get water out of tank?

ey mate dw bout it, i had the exact same problem, used to leak heaps then when it got onto the road and i drove it around a fair bit, ive drove it about 700km in the last 2 weeks and all the moisture has gone, i also had a very bad petrol smell... thats gone now to, must of been bad fuel:D... so just dw bout it, i was a bit worried when i saw it to my car to hahaha

missus (in more ways than one)
there is a petrol line that comes off the filler tube, check to see if it's leaking i had this problem
