Momo Amp

Hi Guys
Quick question that im sure has been asked B4 What is a Mono amp ???
Im sorry if its a stupid question , but im about to get some gear and a couple of the Alpine amps are mono and im unsure of what this mean !!?? :b:

Amps have a Left channel and a Right channel....a mono block amp has combined both channels into one (so no listening in stereo) and are designed mainly for the subwoofers. Although, small monoblocks around the 50-70Watt mark can be found and are used to power a centre speaker in 5.1 Surround Sound cars.
