    Would a monaro cai be any good on a vx ss? better then the stock box?

    You use the standard box when fitting the MCAI. It's just a plastic shroud that you use instead of the standard inlet, usually doing the two-hole mod at the same time.

    The general consensus is it's as good as you can do without going to an OTR setup. And cheap.
