hay guys!!

i have a bit of a pickle here!

i have a monaro coupe with an ecotec v6 3.8 naturally aspirated (no mods! factory engine!:bomb:)

anyway..

i installed a long 2.5 extractors .. on the standard exhaust ... and i seem to lost power!!!:undead: .. well torque mostly ... with the stock extractors i could spin my tires forever but now it won't even do a proper burnout!!!!!!

i had a 0 to 100 time in 7.6 and now its like a solid 8.4 seconds !!!!!!!! :spew:

the only thing i have on the car is a K&N filter that goes to the stock square factory filter

please help me cos if dont figure the proplem out im gonna have to put back the original extractors back:hmmm:

Just posting cause i never knew they released the Monaro with an NA engine. Is it still called a CV6, or is it just a 'coupe'?

well .. there was!
the time i'v installed it it was running rich! and really slooow! and going black smoke on me .. the check engine was up !

then it was all because of a little damn fuse ! the engine sensors fuse to be exact

but now its ok but still running slower than the stock :(

Fitting extractors shifts your torque higher in the rev range. You will find you have better acceleration after 2500 rpm. Long tube extractors on a V6 N/A aren't the right choice. What exhaust does it have?
