Also they never seen to have problems, they never got a diffrent engine aye.

It's the cosmetics that they've changed, wheels, interior etc etc. They may run them as a series instead of a model.

They call it the V2.

Series II version came out a couple of months after the VY.
Series III at the same time of the VY II.

Just remembered, they're gonna facelift the Monaro later this year. It's got new bumpers, slightly different headlights, VY SS grille. The biggest change is that they're gonna put the fuel tank ahead of the rear axle (ala Pontiac GTO). This'll make room for a better exhaust which will put out 260kW. This is in the April 2004 issue of MOTOR btw...

Just one question... with the tank ahead of the axle, how will that affect the rear seat space? It'll be worse if it makes it to the VZ SS because the SS seats 5, the Monaro seats 4.

The new fuel tank (from the pontiac) takes up boot space.
The monaro seats 4 basically cause its smaller, and the 2 rear seats are the same size as the front ones. all sporty.

The coupe4 has the pontiac fuel tank, note the dual exhaust.
