Just wondering if these shocks would be ok my on vt VT ss 5.7ltr sedan price i got from repco was $310 Front pair and $130 rear pair
Ok..... just...... Do yourself a favor and contact forum sponsor GSL rallysport for a set of quality replacements that will not break the bank. KYB are a good start. Reaper
What do you think a set of front and rear shocks of KYB`s are worth mate? where would be the best place to buy them from?
i think supercheat repco etc etc sell KYBs for a street car i wouldn't bother getting better than KYB to be honest is the Monroe Gabriel Pedders Sportsrider crap that bad?
GT Gas, YES, without a question of a doubt. Chalk and cheese in terms of quality and performance. GT Sport, personally still yes. Similar performance, but we rate the quality of the KYB better. Nup.
OK just i have a set on the front of the ute i am taking out tonight as have never been happy with them putting a new set of stockers back in for now.
I have the munroe's they're really good. Have a look on EBay, you can get them delivered cheaper than staff prices at Coventry's!
i thought about getting the gt sport package with superlow kings all round on ebay for 615, rang up autobarn and for the same package there price was 760. went in on friday afternoon and showed the guy the price on ebay and said id buy it right then, he did everything for trade price! little did he realise it would of cost me nearly 100 postage so i got a steal.
Koni yellow sports adjustables FTW. The spring seat on KYB fronts can foul 245 x 19's. Monroe GT Sports not good with FE2 springs, too soft on bounce, front crashes down coming off speed humps. The GT Sportsy are designed to make the ride better on stiff lowered springs. Monroe GT Gas are better with FE2 or softer springs, they are a bit siffer on bounce than GT sports with similar rebound quality.
