no body would ever know a tune has been done though, even on a bog standard alloytec. i highly doubt that the police will check to see if the ecu has been reflashed, or even have the knowledge of how to access it. if you are seriously worried about what police will find or not, dont do anything or dont ask. but in my opinion if you are that worried, but want something no one will pick up, a tune, and leave it at that. btw, this thread is pointless if you are worried what mr popo will say, or legalities of it. mafless tuning is completely illegal, but you see no one busting a nut at the boys who do them, instead everyone highly recommends it.

You could always paint your engine cover in heat proof paint, this stops heat from the sun getting through the bonnet and increasing heatsoak. Ask BigDaddtCool. Her recommends it!

Honestly for a P Plater you cant do much. You cant even drive a v8. You can put an exhaust on, but depends on the cop if they want to dick you for being too loud.

but seriously u cant "leagaly" do anything to increase performance, copa did me for a cat back exhaust. 3 points $240 fine,i took it to court and got off, but you get my point. If you realy want more id just do sway bar (there like 60 bux from holden and bolt straight on) lsd with some different gears in it, and k@n airfilter with mace spacers, and soon to come... 92mm throttlebodys. these are all mods wich eather cant be seen or arnt iliigle for p platers in vic
