Well I don't know much about this type of stuff but I guess you could get some pacemaker extractors. Not exactly sure on cost though but I think over 400.
In combination with a good exhaust system that should give you a few more kW. You should get a good exhaust and good extractors fitted for just under $1000.

Common things that are done for NA vls
  • extractors, high flow cat, cat back system
  • CAI if wanting to cut a hole
  • K&N filter for CAI
  • bigger leads
  • advance timing
  • XF falcon throttle

then you can turbo, supercharge or open it up and place like cam, head work and other stuff

just depends on budget

just remba with power you need stoping power, and the abilty to place it down to the floor so dont over look suspension and brakes as they are just as important if not more then going quicker

where would you put the pod? the only place is in the wheel arch and they get covered in sh#t. just use a k&n panel filter in the original air box and run tubing somewhere. or put a hole in the bottom of the box through to the wheel arch.

You put the pod where the air box is... Its not hard to make your own box to house the pod, and run a custom CAI through to the POD.

This is what I did to my VL, and the next stage was going to be to replace the standard box with my own housing a POD:
