Get in the ute
....either way, it's a kitchen bench. whether it's in the garage or the kitchen it's irrelevant to me. too cool :)

how's that non power steering action going? I was half hoping to get a call to come round and drink your beer/get friendly with the stato! hehe

hope it all ends up 'bolt in' :)

Doing myself a front end alignment right now, but check some progress pics:

I thought I'd clean and regrease the bearings while I was in there

You can see the vacuum lines to the carbon canister no longer run to the left
MortonVQ_47.jpg

In fact they run under here now, where the canister is hidden!

Good stuff man, is it all finished now? Any dramas?
I just moved my charcoal canister too, tucked it in behind the battery, can hardly even see it, and the vac lines and everything still reach.

Ahh yeah, that's not a bad place either :) I just chucked some spare trans hose on the big line for the canister and it reached the passenger side.

dude thats win :) congrats on getting the rack in....

Thanks! Hard work :p

She's all together and running well now. Just gotta get an alignment tomorrow 'cause I bet I've stuffed it by MILES.

The steering is SO GOOD!!!! I can't believe how much better it feels around corners at speed. It's so much more communicative, and it feels like I'm actually driving the damn thing. And I can still make the tight u-turn at the end of my street :D
