My point, if too suttle for you, is that such a vehicle where access by the driver is hindered, is against the ADR's.

Not to mention that Reaper made a valid point earlier about a foot operated emergency brake being more accessible than a normal hand brake.

Cross plys were not great however the difference in power and torque onset of the EH vs VN are a universe apart. Even a souped up EH would struggle to match a stock VN in those terms. Of course there are many wild examples around however that is beyond the scope of the OP's intent for this thread.
