    With a car im on Green p plates do I can for my motorbike license is this correct? I wa told that..
    Also with a motorbike license on the L plates do I need to do a certain amount of hours with a open license rider? How big bike can I ride?

    Dont know, but my new flatmate is from Emerald and he has his bike licence so I will ask him when he gets back from work.

    But the best way to find out exactly is call up your Local Roads Authority and ask, or call up a bike shop....

    You're not wrong. It's 18 in Vic and you don't have to have a car licence. About motorcycle licences : VicRoads
    You only have to do the road rules test if you don't have a car learners or license.
