It's a shame you missed out the E series, I still think the EL XR8's were a manly looking car. Plenty of Australia content for you to do still.

When you do your videos, the history side of it is fantastic. Maybe show people the differences in models. For example, look at E Series Ford changes between different models and specials that came up. That history stuff is fascinating and I'm sure you would get some views if you went through it well.

Thanks mate. I do love the history side of things, so I always look for ways to incorporate it into the videos. I have a lot of great ideas, but I am hamstrung by budget at the moment. The BA XR6T is going to keep me busy for a while (and the wallet empty I suspect) but it should be fun.

I still own the AU and the NC Fairlane - which is pretty much a long ED Falcon. I do love the E Series though so I will probably revisit them at some stage.

I started with EL Wagon, got a WRX V6 STI, then .... Everyone of those cars, I put on LPG except for the STI, Audi and the VE.

Favourite was the Version 6 STI, VT Clubsport and now the VE is my favourite

Hahaha, the WRX only came with horizontally opposed 4 cylinder so when you initially said STI V6, I thought you’d done an engine swap Obviously cleared up later when you said Version 6

I also liked the STI’s... sadly one year they dropped the forged crank, rods and pistons for their engines while increased the price... vaguely remember it was around 2007/8 but not sure what version that was nor whether their lates includes forged internals

Basically, I don't give a toss about fashion. My videos are about the cars, and old ones at that, so if I look like I'm from the 1990's that's actually fine with me. Nobody is tuning in to ogle over a middle-aged balding man.

I've worn the same outfit in pretty much every video and nobody ever mentions or comments about it, which I think is actually really funny. Kind of like Karl Stefanovic wearing the same suit on the TODAY show for 7 years and nobody talking about it. Yours is probably the first I've read about it.

If you put yourself out there in the public domain you're never going to please everyone all the time, luckily I have a pretty thick skin and don't really give a toss about it.
