Any realestate buffs on here?

Im looking to buy a house in Mount Annan and wondering what peoples thoughts are on the area.
The reason im looking in that area is it's close to the mrs work and seems like a good suburb to raise a young family.

Many jc members live around here? Is it nice to walk the dog on an evening with the mrs and a pram?
Any reason not to buy in that area?

Any constructive input is appreciated.

Got a mate who lives near the gardens there, no real problems just like any other suburb.
The odd break in etc.
Seems like a good working class where he is.
He's been there since before his kids were born so over 13yrs now, build his own house etc etc

Its near Cambletown...

Bingara Gorge is a FAR BETTER option just 10 min further down highway.

Nice area. The only problem is the traffic on Narellan rd in peak times but it is being upgraded as we speak.

It seems like a very nice area but i had noticed the traffic both on narrellan road and camden valley way. Hopefully the ugrade fixes it some what.

Even though it would be a good investment, living in a new suburb with constant trucks and tradies driving through, for me isnt an ideal lifestyle.
The amount of noise in new subdivions at 6:30 am on sat/sun mornings is shocking.
Not to mention all the dust that gets blown around everyday, covering everything you own, for me isnt ideal.

Im in the industry and have a pretty good idea about new subdivions.

Also dealing with building a new house is another thing i dont want to deal with, i much rather move into something around 10-15 years old that has established neighbours, parks and shops etc...

One way to find out what an area is like, is to talk to the local police.

Tony.
