Moving jesus bars forward?

G'day guys, was just wondering if its possible to move the rear jesus bars (with the light provisions) forward into the front area? Has it been done before?

I think you will find that the handle is separate to the light fixture, as the light is part of the plastic trim
So, it might be, that you cut a hole in the trim and fit a new light.

By the way, for those of you that don't know what a "Jesus bar" is.
It was originally coined for the front grab handle in 4x4's.
In other words, if you have to hang onto the bar, that's what you'd be saying. "Jeeeeeesus".
It's the same as the Jesus bolt that attaches the harness on a hang glider. If that lets go...........

Hmmm, might have to dremel out a hole then! Time to get to work on my surgical hands... Thankfully this isnt a mod for this car!

It's not too hard. You will need to take off the centre pillar trim first, well, you don't have to take it right off, just loosen it.
Then trim comes off quite easily after you take the handles off.
Just clips and a screw on the centre pillar.

You could run the wires back to the rear lights while the trim is off.
