    do the standard units in the series 2 vy play mp3s? or do the vz standard head units fit and work in the vy's?

    It just plays CD's mate, no MP3's.
    Connectors could be different, im not sure. Ask ur local Holden Dealer:thumbsup:

    Vy Calais's have a 6 stacker.

    Check the ASR sponsor's forum - the factory HU can be modified to allow Aux Input - from MP3 player, portable DVD, laptop, cassette Walkman, whatever....

    they are nothing mate they slide straight in no dramas. funny u say that I got a bloody single disk off my vy and a 6 stacker off a vy ss both with pin. so if ya know anyone who wants to buy one. i got no need for em
