I remember seeing this out at Enhanced Auto back in January I reckon it was, did you end up looking into getting the cam work done? Very nice I must say, always had a soft spot for the SS's.
Cheers dude Nah mate it was just a enquiry, but when the point in time does come i think i might try somewhere else.
Very tidy, should take it for a dyno run to see what it makes. I reckon lower the rear a tiny bit more to tuck a inch of rim and it will looks heas tougher Decent stezza there, got pics of the boot setup? What plans you got for it?
Welcome troy-boy about time you got ur a$$ over here in the Ride-Pride section. Make urself at home, go grab a beer from the fridge.....jsut remember there $3 each
Cheers guys! nah mate no more lowering... it already scrapes bad as, and is about 20mm to low on back... it tucks the rim already. yeah i do man.. but its nothing worth showing fair dodge set up cranks alright tho. Plans are too long to list buddy.. alot of plans consist of tidying up, respraying, clean engine bay, respray interior, few go fast gizmo's.
yeah i know mate, ive meet only one other troy in my whole life. Look on car forums and theyre everywhere! well been having some gearbox/clutch issues... so the whole drive line, box and clutch is all out.. cars in peices everywhere lol =[ gear box seems fine, clutch seems very good since it was replaced brand new before i bought it.. thrust bearing needs replacing and we replacing the spicket bearing as well as the rear main seal while its out... hopefully this will sort out the troubles ive been having. Will be giving the box and few other bits a nice bit of degreaser ..will post pics soon!
I agree with everyone else - looks sweet man. Especially when so many cars that colour fade and peel - it's good to see one nice and new looking. Internationals look sweet. And I can imagine that it sounds mean as hell - the exhaust on my caprice is real similar to yours. Good luck with it.
ayy man looks sexy as howd u go gettimg them foglights were they are howd the fit there i got some for my vn n it wont fit in there ahha
Here's a few pics of whats been happenin. Car on ramps box and all components out.. Pis of the old bearing.. And now new bearing.. Picture of the ol clutch... still yet to pull it out n see what condition its in... Some pics of the filthy box.. And after going at it with some degreaser and a steam cleaner.. Billet short shifter
they come stock on vn ss's mate. they fit inbetween the stock bar and the added ss lip kit it comes with. It aint a vn ss without the foggies
cheers buddy. its got a few spots n marks that i notice since its my car, but yeah no major dings or anything in her. I was thinking of changing the exhaust but a few people say it sounds tuff as... so this exhaust will stay on until the time comes for a twin 2 1/2"
Well after getting back into the garage today and pulling out the clutch and flywheel... I think we found the source of the problem.. Looks like a new heavey duety clutch and new flywheel are on there way asap! So as of a few weeks a should have pretty much a whole new setup excluding gear box.. We will be replacing Real main seal, thrust bearing, flywheel, heavey duety clutch, fixing hand brake while we're there and spiket bearing. Any help as to what brand/type of clutch i should put back into the ss would be appreciated.. Here's a few pic's.. The cause of the problems. No meat at all on this bad boy.. And you can see in these pics the fly wheel and clutch have been worn down a few mm or so its that bad..
