Hey guys anyone here in to 4x4s happen to be running federal couragia mt's ? If so how much did you pay per tyre ?

I was looking around on the net and finally decided to pop in and have a look and I thought the average price was around 250 to 270 for a 33 x 12.5 x 15 but I was quoted 450 per tyre. For that sort of money I can get them fitted on new steelies delivered for a lot less.

I thought each Federal shop claimed to match any price but I didn't feel like being a ball buster just said I'd call back later.

Wow...that's alot. $450/tyre is more than i was quoted for 35x11.5x16's.

Are you set on the Federals?

Wasnt set on them but from reading I gathered they were one of the cheaper options. Maybe big horns but ive been told their super noisy. Maybe the guy got the price wrong but seems odd he works there all day and when he quoted me he didn't seem surprised.

I've been running Toyo open country mt for a couple of years now, great tyre. I paid $385 per tyre for 265x75x16.

I run the Federals on my Rangie, 33x12.5R15's, I paid $255 a tyre 12 months ago. I reckon they are a really good tyre, but then it's not a daily so road noise and longevity aren't really factors for me, just off road ability.

Previous to that I was running 31x10.5R15 Maxxis Bighorn 764's, they were a good tyre, I would have run them in the 33 but they were almost $100 a tyre more expensive.

I just bought some BFG mud terrains km2's for $313 a tyre in a 265/75/R16 (32") size.

I have a feeling that the $450 price is wrong or they tried to rip you off, have heard good things about the federal's, was tempted to get some myself.

Just got quoted $423 fitted for Mickey Thompson ATZ P3's 265/75/R16. I would hate to see the price of the MTZ's.
