Muffler or no Muffler??

    Just about to put a 3inch system on my 5 Litre.

    There is no muffler in it though, just a Cat and thats it.

    I have a Muffler in the garage. Should I cut and weld in or not??

    Will it be louder without the muffler?? Will I loose any power??

    It will be too loud mate, far too loud. To not have any muffler is just stupid.

    A 3inch with no mufflers at all will be ear piercing.
    Just with the cat and 1 mid muffler will still be loud, but will be nice.
    Normally there is 2 mufflers though

    Nah,

    Got a 2.5 on it at the moment with one muffler. Sounds alright, but want something louder.

    What you want and what the cops will let you have might be 2 different things A excessively loud car will be a cop magnet

    3 inch with no muffler will be insanely loud, you will be lucky to last a week without getting defected for it.
