There are small mufflers available that will do it. Berklee do one, part number BM0449, it is a small baffled hotdog shape. Also, if size isn't an issue, use a Mini muffler, they are baffled and have a 32mm inlet.

haha didn't realise Minis were that bad.... !

It's for a 2 stroke vacuum pump (paddock vacuum), and you have to be very close to it to use the vacuum thingy, since my parents use it a lot (alpaca stud) it gets hell annoying and quite painful. Just looking for a good way to quieten it down a bit, apart from the obvious 'use hearing protection'.

Also because you need to rev the hell out of it to get any sort of vacuum going you're sitting in a permanent cloud of exhaust smoke.... do they do catalytic converters for 2 strokes? :p I'm only half kidding :)

As I said I have NFI about the 2 stroke side of things

iv got a mini muffler if you want it. Its about 4 years old and driven about 1km. seriously.

2 Stroke smokes alot because of the oil that is mixed and burt with it. I think that it would clog a cat in about a week.

Good point about the clogging, hadn't thought of that :s

Cheers for the offer on the mini muffler but I'll check out some businesses first I think. Another one of these things I have to get around to.

I've just started work at a wrecking yard so maybe that'll yield something?
