My 06 VZ is misfiring on cylinders 2, 4 and 6. As the car starts up you can hear slight popping and misfiring, it then settles and is only really noticeable under acceleration. Was hoping to find some solid reasoning as to why? I've seen other threads but a lot of them go straight to timing chains or coil packs, and my timing chain has already been done?
Done the spark plugs but I don't wanna splash out on the coils as all of them being on the same bank it seems unlikely to be individual coils? Any advice would be helpful!
Whilst driving my vac hose came off, and the problem started after this, so I'm thinking maybe the cat on the relevant side has been fucked from an incorrect fuel ratio, but would that cause a misfire if the cat was fried? That's the question I'd love to know the answer to! I'm also assuming 2,4 and 6 are on the passenger side?
If anyone can help that would be great, thanks!
