i have a 2001 vx ss I’m wondering if anyone knows who does a true bolt in 4link/multilink rear end. It has to allow me to keep the standard diff

There is nobody who does a true bolt in kit, particularly one that will let you retain an IRS diff (don't know how that would even be a thing). Macdonald Bros Racing and Castlemaine rod shop do kits that require minimal chassis modification which you would use with a 9 inch or something, or possibly some other factory live axle diff with the mounts modified.

I've seen a Cobra with an independent suspension 4 link setup and not cheap and for a Commodore why?
