Vz v6
Hey guys and gals I have a 2004 vz commodore sedan it was running fine not a problem with it 2 days ago had half tank of fuel ect and then yesterday morning I got in it to go down st and I turned the key and all the lights and everything came on the dash like normal act and when I went to start it nothing happened and it was also saying I had no fuel left.. like 0kms to go even the needle was all the way down so I thought it could be just a flat battery so I tried to jump start it and again like before nothing happened So I put battery on charger and once it said it was fully charged I tried again and still nothing. I can hear the fuel pump ect it's all good. But what I never noticed until about an hour ago is that system check that comes up on dash when u start that says system check ok it come up but half way threw it all these other warnings come up saying low fuel and service car due in so many kms or what ever it is so I don't get to see if it says system ok. And when I turn key to on but not start it the immobilizer stops flashing so that's good I guess.. I don't know why it's doing it. I have added a photo of my car also. I don't know if I can add videos of what it is doing
PLEASE I BEG YOU PLEASE HELP ME..... Thank you in advance.

If you or a family member belong to the RAA call them they can put their diagnostic tool into the system and check for problems, Sounds like the battery has died. Take out to a battery specialist and get it checked. They have a tendency to die suddenly during cold weather spells.

Sounds like ecu, common problem with the vz v6's.
That was my thoughts but i didn't want to bring the bad news until other things were ruled out first. It's fairly common on early VEs as well.

Isn't the BCM in charge of the fuel data and fuel gauge operation?
ECU or BCM, either way, this stinks of faulty computers.

Get a mechanic to connect it up to a gadget that reads the computers.
They can dig around a bit to find if thats what is buggered.

A cheap pot luck fix that might over come it, a computer set from the wreckers off another SV6 Sedan.
ECU, PIM and BCM. $150-ish.

DISCONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL.
Put the headlights on and pump the brake a couple of times.
Switch off headlights.
Next...
The PIM and BCM are easy, under the steering wheel, unplug the looms, undo a couple of screws and out they come.
Replace. Job time if you don't know what you are doing, 30mins. 5 if you do.
ECU, carefully remove the loom plugs from the ECU. Bolted to the front of the engine near the battery.
Undo the small nuts holding it on.
Swap the ECU's and put back together.

Only do that if the mechanic says either the BCM or ECU are stuffed.

I'm having the same trouble with my 06 VZ. Service vehicle soon pops up and so does and check engine light. it will crank but won't turn over. Checked basic stuff first of course, couldn't hear petrol pump priming after it died, changed it. Nothing. Got a scan tool on it, said fuel related. Changed fuel filter and put the air compressor through the fuel line in case of blockage, no fuel getting to front of car, second scan tool said immobiliser, got another key coded... Holden gave me BCM code, it was different to Mr Minits code from my original key (already changed once before I bought it, I'm guessing) went with Mr minutes code, as my key was working fine with it before... still nothing!!
Probably safe to say my ECU has **** itself then lol.... At least it's not the timing chain right? Haha getting full diagnostics next week
