Very nice mate.

It always starts raining after you clean your own car. Can go all week with dry weather while I'm doing client's cars - but when I take the time to show mine some loving, it rains.

Yep.. cleaned her up last night. Pissed down all night!

Cheers mate - got her booked into a place here in (R)adelade on the weekend called spectra car wash - had to wait a month for a spot and all they are doing is washing her but they take a good hour and use all the proper gear! Just cant be bothered to do it again so soon myself! Then i'll have it booked in to another guy when summer starts who will do a full detail and remove all the swirl marks etc...

Results of a 9 hour detail

Hi All,

Took the day off yesterday and spent a solid 9 hours detailing the car. Results below - enjoy :)

Used a DAS-6 Pro RO Polisher

On the heavier swirls/scratches i used Menzerna Fast Gloss Fg500 with an Orange Festool Pad

The rest of the car i used:

1st pass - Menzerna Powerfinish PF2500 with an Orange Festool pad
2nd Pass - Menzerna Powerfinish PF2500 with a White Festool Pad
Final Pass - Menzerna Final Finish S4000 with a Black Festool Pad

Cleaned down with a prepsol type chemical and then finished with Megs Next Gen Wax 2.0

Looks like it came out really nice mate. Good job!

With that clay, did you use the whole thing or cut it in half? You don't really need more than half - plus... if you drop the whole thing you're screwed! haha

Thanks mate. Yeah i only used half :) almost dropped it when claying the front bar - caught it just before it hit the ground!
