Saw a VF tonight in new green colour (Jungle Fever). Does this mean 2015 models are about to be released?

Holden ran a test batch of them many months ago to get consumer feedback. I saw one a few weeks ago as well. This is normal practice for new colours.

New MY's generally start in September. I'm holding out my order of an SS ute until then just in case there's any changes I don't want to miss out on. If not I'll pick up existing stock on runout. Win/Win :)

Assume the feedback on that colour would be pretty negative. Think Holden must have a new person choosing colours these days. We don't seem to get any Poison Ivy, Voodoo or Sizzle anymore!

Components for the colors Poison Ivy and Voo Doo were sourced from a factory in Japan that was destroyed in the tsunami in 2011, which is why those popular colors were dropped from MY12.

That explains a lot. Hope a local paint chemist can come up with some similar formulas.

Yeah well it made my decision easy, I couldn't decide what color I wanted out of VooDoo Poison Ivy and Alto Grey, although I was definitely favoring Alto Grey, mother nature made the decision for me :)
