Glad my redline came with DVD. Awesome way to kill time while waiting for the missus. VIM is perfect for the kids.

Holden Commodore - Big 3 Sale - YouTube

Look closely at Holdens latest ad.

Press release now online. Not a lot of changes. Strange the horrible Jungle Fever colour got the go ahead and Slipstream Blue didn't.

"New dynamic steering calibration for all models"

I wonder if that's just software?

Does look nice, and the paddles will make a huge difference:

(Scribble on the dash is optional extra).

Now the question will be, how much hassle to get those paddles working on MY14 cars. There's one company that already fits them but they want over a grand for it, no thanks.

I have the above paddles already, and the install operation scheduled for just $300 :yarr:

The key bit is that the new VF likely has TapShift 2.0 which shifts faster than Porsche's PDM (and DSG), however the operating system on the controller is not backwards compatible and you need to sap that out, and it's located right inside the 6L80e. Ima hoping just maybe those new replacement trannies available here for $2500 have the updated T43 and I will swap out when this one carks it. Still looks good with the deep pan mod and tune though.

Why paddle shifters only on Redline? I dont want all the bling, I dont care about leather or head up display or sun roof or or whatever else - I want the hardware! My VZ SV6 had paddle shifters, although no throttle blip.

Couldn't the Redline pack be an option on all the sports models?

Wonder what next years Hilux will be like....
