Heres My Car:

1986 VL SL

Havent done a whole lot of work to it, besides the exhaust which is extractors running into a 2.5 inch sports system with a 2.5 inch dump tip.

Since i've had it the fuel breather lines have all corroded so i replaced those and while it was out i decided to spray the fuel tank (pic below)

No real plans for this car for the future as its my daily driver and im saving for the next car.

Here are just some pics and a video of the exhaust note: (click to enlarge/view)

Cheers. Looking at a VLT. I was going to save for a VY SS but im only 20 and want to have a bit more fun before i get serious with car choice. Plus, for all the messing around its given me, theres something about the VL's i cant get over just yet

Just an update:

For the past 6 or so months i've had an oil leak which i've been too busy to bother about looking at getting it fixed, about 4 months ago i took it to GRM and the engine builder and a mechanic had a look at it.

Diagnosed it as a Cam Seal leak...oh no i thought. This will be the end of my car.

Since then i've been putting off getting it fixed and some will know how much i curse parking it for the puddle of oil left after i drive away.

This saturday i took it to the GRM mechanics house and together we pulled the thing apart to get to the seal. Low and behold, the seal wasnt doing its job right. In fact, the seal had completely fallen out of where it should have been, needless to say there was a lot of oil everywhere.

Got it fixed and she's now dryer than a nuns....yeah

Also just treated her to new leads, new plugs and a new cap. :w00t:

Well, the decisions been made.

As of mid next year the car will be being replaced by a VT 5.7L

And with that will start the project that i never got around to with this car.

Custom Interior, Custom Boot....But time will show.
