No fully sik dose bruh: CHECK.
No aftermarket intercooler: CHECK.
No rust around the windows: CHECK.
Not raped at all, clean as fark!: CHECK.

I have had a few VL's, trust me, it looks good.

In regards to the plate I asked a VL enthusiast that I know who lives in Auckland also and owns a GTS just like mine plus has owned and currently owns other VL’s including Australian assembled models and his words are as follows:

"That is essentially the body plate/vin tag.

Any VL which was New Zealand assembled had one of those tags fitted to the left strut tower, some of them had a bit more info stamped on the lower lines like paint and which engine/gearbox was fitted.

Unfortunately they do look very much 'home made' but this is how General Motors in Wellington did them.

Australian assembled vehicles have a more professional looking body plate and separate vin tag on the fire wall. Both of my other VL's are Aussie assembled and have them placed there instead of the strut tower."


So even though the plate may look a bit “homemade/dodgy” it is completely legitimate.

mate, I am no VL enthusiast but that car is a winner - congrats on such a lovely vehicle.
