That fuel smell - check the fuel hoses up by the firewall near the brake booster and make sure all the fittings and clamps are tight.
Also, it may be fuel breather hose on the tank itself.

So after having a look today I thought it must be the hose going into the fpr as it was cracked. So I got some new hose and fixed it all up. Bastard was still leaking. Pulled out the reg and discovered that the rubber grommet thing of the bottom of it has perished. All I need is to get another grommet hopefully!

All fixed! Ended up buying another regulator from the wreckers. Chucked her in and all good! No more leaking fuel :D

Awesome man! Don't throw out the old regulator. They're an expensive bit of gear lol. Just be on the look out for an o ring for it and you've got yourself a good spare :spot on:

Thanks dude! Yeah pretty happy with it! It has a few dents and scratches but I can't complain for a 23 year old car lol

Hopefully I'll be getting new shocks for the front today if I can sneak out of work for a bit haha

Not much has happened with the ol girl at the moment. Bought some new front shocks that are sitting in my garage waiting to be put in haha. Will need to find my camera charger to take some decent pics lol

you will need a wheel alignment after you do the shocks matee
