So. A new update.
Rear end has been re bushed.
Had to use the outers that came with it as I destroyed the original bolts by trying to line up the hole for the split pin. Rookie mistake..
They were in perfect nick anyway.

Today I greased the slides for the front brakes. Found these marks.

Starting to think about picking up the engine from the machinist.
Gotta give it a really good clean, then build it all up from there.
Kinda keen on it. Gotta learn somehow.
How hard is cam bearing installation?
Anything else that I should know?

This is my progress for the boot install

Thats a 1200 by 100mm side. In total a 2400mm circumference.

About an inch gap.

Should be Monday.
Finished that spare wheel encloser skulleton.
Tomorrow is rear end swap.
Monday is new rear tyres and full wheel alignment.

So weekend job was a complete waste of time.
Tryed to fit spare rear end. Was about 50mm to long.
Ended up screwing a hub before finding out. So it was time figuring out how to remove that. Then raid one off the spare.
Fitted that and stole the adjustable bushes from the spare rear end.
Now to provide some pictures..
